The way Litiana’s surgery happened was a miracle. From the time she was born, Litiana was always unwell and ill. She was down with some sort of sickness and it became difficult for us as a family. In February of 2018, Litiana was laying down one day, crying and unable to say anything. Tears just flowed from her eyes. So we took her to the nearest health centre and from there she was taken to the emergency department at Lautoka Hospital. She was admitted in February and March. The doctors told us that Litiana had heart disease and there was no treatment in Fiji. We could not afford to go overseas. Those were very painful and emotional days as we didn’t have any solutions. The only solution was to pray to the Lord. One day in March, the doctors told us that Litiana is very lucky because there was a team of Heart surgeons coming to Fiji in April. Our prayers were answered! The surgery was done and the Lord saved our daughter. After surgery, Litiana is a normal child now, perfectly healthy. We are so thankful to Sai Prema Foundation. We didn’t have to pay even one dollar for a surgery which costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. We are so grateful and so blessed.
