When we met the surgeons and doctors, they told us that it will be a 50-50 because they found two sicknesses in Timaima – heart disease and liver problem as well. The doctors told me they will try their best and told me to be positive and hopeful. But I was too scared and we walked away and didn’t agree for the surgery. But Mr Sumeet Tappoo met us and gave us confidence that the surgeons who had come were the very best in the world and that Timaima was in good hands. We finally decided to go for surgery. That was the scariest moment in life. Giving Timaima to the surgeons. Acutally, I couldn’t bare to think that it may be the last time I see her alive. The surgery was a success. From the day of the surgery till today, she has never been admitted to the Hospital and she never been back in the Hospital. She has never even had any sickness. After the surgery, we can see a big difference. Her life has changed. Her breathing is normal. The colour of her eyes is normal. I want to thank Sai Prema and the surgeons and doctors who have sacrificed so much for us. Everything was so well organised. It has not been easy. I have been struggling. We have had to spend a lot of money especially in travels and for her medication. But you have saved my little girl. I was waiting for the day to come for my little girl to be saved.
