I am forever grateful to Sai Prema Foundation and their work to save lives of our children and I cannot thank them enough for allowing my grandchild to live a normal life. As Skylar’s grandmother, I felt her pain and I could not bear to see her suffering. When she was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease, I was heartbroken. I never knew what congenital heart disease meant. It created fear in me to lose Skylar because all hope seemed lost. She always got upset that she was not able to run and play with her friends. She kept saying ‘Grandma, what is happening to me and please help me’. But the dark days were replaced with love and happiness thanks to the wonderful doctors and surgeons who saved Skylar’s life. I would not be standing in front of you without Sai Prema Foundation’s help.
